Can a mod please for the love of pete, sticky a link to the samsung users manuals for this phone. There are ALOT of questions being asked that are covered in the manual.

I will mention it to the moderators. Personally I don't see a use for it because most people (not to be mean) wont read the manual anyway and will come on here to ask a question and get a quick answer.

I thought about this as well. I come from a family of manual readers I guess. I like to thoroughly know what me devices can do all at one time instead of piecing it together from tidbits of info placed here and there. It also helps to make informed decisions on whether to buy said device or not depending on its capabilites.

Unfortunatly we can't make stickies for everything, and the manual is something that is easily accessible to everyone. You can look at the one that comes with your phone or go on Samsungs website and download the manual as a PDF. With all of that, coming to forum like this is usually the best way to get an answer to some questions over the manual. I am not saying that the manual is pointless, its not. It does have some very valuable information for users but most of the time, myself included, don't have the time to sit and read the manual or look for one little page about something I am looking for. I usually end up Googling it or coming here.

Just to be fair it would be hard to post a link to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 manual since its supported by all 5 of the major US carriers and also the various international versions. If you go to Samsung's website there is no "one stop shop" manual for the device you have to enter in the carrier specific model number to pull up the manual.

I know this. Hell I can I post 5 links in about 1 minute but I cant make it a sticky.

Creccaj1 brought up a valid point that most wont read it if you posted a link anyhow. I see this TLDR in other forums alot. I myself read everything I can get my hands on tech wise.

Too true. Sad. Reading manuals makes everything much easier.

I once had a prof who said that we'll forget everything we learned in that class in two years, but as long as we understood how to get answers, it wouldn't matter. Years later I can see he was right.
