If you're using anything other than music actually on your phone, like streaming through Pandora, Amazon mp3 or Google music, beats won't show up. For these just adjust DSP for better sound. It's in the app drawer and does the same thing as beats, but for your WHOLE phone rather than only htc music.

Well, here's the thing. VVM sucks and is a waste of money. Imo, use google voice. It's a hundred times better.

You should try google music imo. They have a 20000 mp3 storage that's free and awesome. Unless you like filling up your sd card that is. Otherwise, ignore the dsp comment and enjoy beats audio in your stock music player.

I 100% agree. Save your money. Get a free Google Voice account. Doesn't Verizon get enough from you every month?

Spotify is the way to go. I was amazed at the music selection, and the stream quality over 3g. Sorry to stay off topic, I just wanted to throw that out there.

I've heard of Spotify but, it sounds different from GMusic, from what I'm hearing. Gmusic sounds like it's actually YOUR music, wherever you go, via the cloud. Just my understanding of it though.

I don't anymore. Just sign up for it. I burned those long ago. Spotify sucks because of the limits on how long you can listen to it. I have a Spotify account, but Ive never even logged onto it. Google is all my music. 15k songs of mine. I already know I like it all. :-D oh and no limits.

Depends on how your treat your music I suppose. For me I like a new cd for a few months or maybe weeks, then move on. Spotify premium allows your to make any song they have available offline on your mobile devices for 10 bucks a month. As far as I know the limits only apply to the free version.
If you like to keep your music for years down the road GM is definitely for you. You buy it, you keep it.

ok one more thing and i'll leave you guys alone. ever since i installed this rom i have been getting a text message from a number 6250 and all it says is vzw1 anyone know what that is? i cant get it to stop. oh and when will mms be fixed for this rom any update? ty

Lol. This isn't a private conversation man. Youre good. I personally don't have mms issues, but i use gosms. Best imo. As for that text, I'm not sure what that is.

Anyone else having a bit of lag while typing? Not as snappy as I'd like it to be, and makes me type slower.

another thing i've noticed is the font isnt as dark or as big as the other roms , i'm having a very hard time reading things on the phone like facebook or stuff on the net. the fonts in the other roms seem darker and a bit bigger, easier to read

Also.. what are you guys overclocking with? SetCPU? Is it compatible with this kernel? I'm thinking about running up to 1.2-1.4..

They people over on xda mentioned System Tuner as their favorite. It was said that setcpu works though if that is your preference. I personally don't have any overclocking apps loaded, my phone is very fast already.. I don't load a bunch of extra stuff on my device either so I'm sure that helps out.

Just flashed it but getting a pop up say "process com.htc.android.htcime" and I have no clue what that means. Im new to the whole rooting thing before this ROM i had only flashed one.
