I keep getting this notification because I use my (dry) thumb or pinky finger to prop up my phone on or around the charge port. Anyone else getting this notification? It's repeatable for me.

Dry out the bottom charging port with hair dryer and make sure its clean

An alcohol wipe and a toothpick to gently clean the charging port would be a good start.
Keep your fingers crossed that that'll sort it out.
It has been a very random problem since at least the S8 phone, sometimes easier sorted than others, my Note 8 needed a reflash for the problem to go away, not even factory reset could do it.

I got that alert once, and it honestly freaked me out a bit. It sorted itself out though. And hasn't happened again.

Mine stuck around for a while until it eventually stopped fast charging. Never had anything in the port, cleaned it and all. Filed a warranty claim and they replaced it for free.

My phone is getting there...sometime it will fast charge and sometimes it won't...due to covid service centres are closed...will saw once it opens

One thing you can try also , go system settings >apps>upper right corner tap >scroll to system apps >find Android system app tap on it and clear data, cache and force stop it

thanks all. it goes away if I leave my fan in front of it but I don't get why it happens at all. I hold this phone the same way as any other phone and have never had this issue. it's so odd.

even on my ultra I don't get this notification.

Since the 9 series been common

One thing that worked for my wife's S7 Edge and I've seen reported working for other Samsungs with this issue is to go into the app manager, use the menu to select to show system files, then scroll down to the "USBSettings" app. Clear that app's data, then restart your phone.

That's worked on some also.

That actually worked on my Note 8 at first a couple of times but then it started to reappear straight away
