Monthly Bill App

I am looking for a monthly bill app that will allow to :

-setup a bill and mark it paid
-keep a running history of the bills for record keeping
-alert when a bill is due
-that is in MMDDYYYY format

-and most importantly....when paying the bill, allow it to repeat to the next month and put a different amount...example a Credit Card paid December 5th for $50 will allow me to setup the January payment of $40

why not just use your bank's bill pay service and then access that via their mobile site? why involve an additional app with the additional steps of tracking and data input when a bill pay service will track all of this automatically?

IMO don't enter data twice if it's not necessary. keep it simple.

I agree, BOA has an excellent on-line bill pay.. not sure what you use but most of the major banks do now days and a few have good apps for Android.

Well not an exact solution, but as far as alerts go, I set up my google calendar with "events" on the day that my bills are due and have it email me a few days to a week before it is due. I don't delete the email until it is paid.

Thats how I manage all of my bills.

Pageonce is free as well I believe... But it will tie into all of your bills/banking/etc.. so you can have "One Stop SHopping" and it wil send out alerts when you recieve a new bill or when it's do.

My wife and I use EasyMoney to manage our funds.

Get the trial, you will be ponying up for the full version in no time. It's most excellent.

I agree, BOA has an excellent on-line bill pay.. not sure what you use but most of the major banks do now days and a few have good apps for Android.

BoA does have an app for Android that provides on-line banking EXCEPT for those of us in Washington state and Idaho. I spoke with a bank rep the other day and she mentioned that they are finally going to upgrade their computer systems to allow that to happen here in the near future.

Looking forward to installing another great app so I can take care of that business wherever I happen to be.

1. i don't like using Bank Apps. i'd rather use their mobile sites. my concern is that using mobile bank apps could compromise my banking data should my phone ever get lost or stolen. i'm more comfortable when i log out of the banking site vs. using an app which might leave residual data behind.
2. check out Bank of America bill pay and ING Direct bill pay. they both do a great job IMO. i use them both and i also have an Excel spreadsheet where i list all of my autopays so if i have a change in banking info i then can refer to the spreadsheet as a master list. this same spreadsheet can be used to track expenses and give you a general budget of where your money is going with regard to recurrent expenses. i try to put everything on the credit card that i can to get the float and the points but i make sure i pay it off in full automatically every month. i never pay interest - i collect interest.

The Wells Fargo app tha I use has you log on everytime you use it. It doesnt even remember your username. I cant speak for others, but WF app works great.

Firm finds security holes in mobile bank apps
