Monthly data didn't renew - is it the carrier or my phone?

I recently started using my LG G7 again, after 9 months of using my old S7E and storing the G7 in the drawer.

However, when Vodafone attempted to renew my monthly Data pack, the automated operator says I don't have enough credit (although I have £13 and it should automatically take £10 when from it when renewing the Data). And I always add the credit a few days before my Data runs out so it can automatically deduct from the credit and renew when the time comes.

My question is - is it possible for the phone to be at fault or is it purely the carrier (Vodafone) ?

I just hope this is pure coincidence and there isn't any correlation between using the G7 for the first time in 9 months and the Vodafone issue, as this didn't happen when using the S7E.

The G7 is unlocked and should work with any UK carrier.

Thanks.

It sounds like purely the carrier (assuming that you're using the SIM you used in the S7), Call them. (If you're using the SIM that was in the G7 [and got a new one for the S7], you'd be putting credit into the wrong account.)
