Mophie and water resistance

Anyone know if the S7 edge would suffer water damage if dunked with a Mophie on it? The Mophie battery case isnt water proof or resistant, but of course the phone is. Any thoughts?

The phone is water resistant, I don't see any reason why that would be compromised with a case on it

I went to the beach as I know it's most likely not going to be good with salt water but I did it more than once with no signs of damage, but this pay weekend I took it to the beach and noticed that the power and gone keys were not fully functioning guy as now it about 24 hours later everything seems to be back to normal, morale to my story is I'm going to buy the mophie case just to take when I'm going to be in any water, I don't like having thick cases so I'll keep it in storage unit I'm going to have a water filled day.
