More details on transferring music from iMac to android

Read some answers, but because I can't even figure out where to start, I need more details, step by step. Start with computer or phone? I've got mostly music purchased through iTunes. Have a Hauwei phone from Consumer Cellular.

Start with your Mac. Download the Google Music Manager app, from the Google Music site. Open Google Music manager, sign in using your google account. This app will copy everything in your iTunes library up into your Google Music account. Be sure to start it at night before bed and leave it running - a big music collection will take awhile.

Once it is uploaded to your Google account, you will find it all in your Library in the Google Play Music app on your android phone.
