More evidence of a Nov. 10 launch ...

Not that we really needed much more, but here you go.

+1 Phil! Any news is good news at this point :D. Considering there was that blackout period for about 3 weeks when we didn't hear anything. (I guess the RAZR and G-Nex announcements kind of overshadowed anything HTC would have put together).

I still say that doing that announcement for the Rhyme was the biggest farce ever. Holding a launch event for a mid-level phone? Huh? I guess since it's geared for the ladies, they deserve their due too.

So, a week (or more) earlier than the Nexus. Just watched the 20-minute Italian unboxing of the Nexus, and I'm as conflicted on which to get as ever. But probably I'll get whatever comes out first, unless I can find a really good reason to wait! Gah, hurry up already!

definitely waiting for this phone..the nexus is just too damn big. anyone know what the pricing (estimated) would be for the vigor, without contract?

i'm stuck on my dinc and i'm not due for an upgrade until later next year :(

I'm guessing around 600 or so, seems..uh. "reasonable", since on contract it's rumoured to be about 300

Does anybody know if this will have more application space than the Dinc? I'm assuming it would but I do not want to go through the issues with this that I'm having to do now with the Dinc and that stupid "low on space" message.

I bet the screen will look nicer than the GN's due to use of (I hope) SLCD vs Pentile.

But no more HTC for me. Worse avg battery life of all manufacturers. And charging port on side is a crap design.

If you look at the Rhyme reviews the women love it. The dock is great (normally a $40-60 option), a lot of them love the Charm and the Sense 3.5 looks pretty nice (HTC's version of "Live Tiles" showing E-mails, etc. looks very nice). It looks like HTC hit the nail on the head with the design (small, light, decent screen size - 3.7, good battery life (1600 Milliamps)) and most women aren't going to carry around an extra battery. No need for dual core and as long as the battery makes it through the day that's good enough - 3G only really helps battery life.

Now, we are not talking about Rhyme here, are we? HTC still didn't get it with their devices and battery life. Rezound standard battery is only 1620mAh which will only last half a day if lucky.

I really dont think there is a "fix" for the battery life issues. The phones are becoming more and more powerful and now with LTE its eating battery at an increased rate. What we need is a new battery tech. Just adding a larger battery is not going to fix since then we will all complain about how thick the phone is.
