Couple of new Motorola tidbits I've been told:

  • The Motorola Dogz specs are as previously mentioned, plus a 5-row keyboard. It could well be called the Droid 4G, though that's said to have a higher-resolution screen. So we may be talking two phones here.
  • There's supposedly another 4.3-inch Motorola phone in the works. (That maybe the Etna?)
  • Olympus might not be an LTE device. Screen unlock (power?) button is on the rear of the phone. Locked bootloader likely.
That's it. TTFN.

oooh, plus a keyboard? Now, that's the phone I want! Finally, a 4 inch or more high-end phone with a keyboard! I was thinking about the merge, but I'll hang tight to see if this materializes.

Where do you see the keyboard on this? Do you mean screen keyboard or slide-out or ???

I was hoping for a full touch screen that is Global. I assume LTE being GSM, that the phone would be global? Does LTE automatically bring GSM capability to make calls?

LTE is supposed to be completely backwards compatible with GSM/HSPA networks as long as the the frequencies all match. This is one reason most network providers are looking into switching to LTE because most of them are running GSM based networks.
