More people are buying the S8+ than the smaller S8

I was shocked I used to sell phones and the plus variant sold more 10:1. at launch I had the s8, two weeks ago I went with the plus

I'm glad that the S8 plus is selling well but the S8 feels perfect for me. I hope that Samsung always has these two choices in the future. I love the S8 size.

I am a fairly large man and I can't use the S8+ with one hand.

I don't want a tablet for a phone.

I wish they would get rid of the top pull down menu and put all that on the edge panel, I end up using both hands with the top pull down with the reg s8 and my hands aren't small either

That's one thing I like about ADW Launcher. You can pull down from anywhere on the screen

I'm happy I went with the S8. It's always been my dream to have a smaller phone with a larger screen and this is it! Easy to handle and still have screen to work with!

The S7 Edge is a shorter phone with a larger (wider) actually used screen when looking at 16:9 apps and movies. The S8 wastes screen on most apps and video.

To be honest I'm very surprised but at the same time not surprised. The Galaxy S7 Edge, at least in Africa, outsold the Galaxy S7 by a big margin. There were always stock issues with the S7 Edge since it was so popular. The reason I'm so surprised is because if everyone loved the screen size of the S7 Edge, then why not keep the same size and pick up the standard Galaxy S8?

Or go with the wider screen of the S7 Edge and save some money?

Im pretty sure the regular s8 sells better than the plus model. And that goes for the iPhone aswell.

S8 Plus all the way for me. I LOVE the big screen! My daughter has the S8 and it looks too small for me.. but she likes it better.

So nice there's a choice and, like another poster said, I hope Samsung keeps it that way
