All apps are showing problems related to using sound. Here are some of the symptoms:
Calls: (cellular calls or calling apps such as WhatsApp): call initiates and the dialed number receives the call, but my phone will be frozen "dialing". Cannot hear or speak to other end of the call. Texting works just fine (but I receive no sound or vibration on text notifications).
Google Assistant: works fine if I type in the search bar, but if I try to use "Hey Google", I'm given the message "Something went wrong."
Youtube: App is able to open and browse, but videos show "Playback error" message if I attempt to play them.
Chrome: browsing and searching works fine, but imbedded or streaming videos or will simply freeze and fail to load.
Audio apps (Spotify, etc.): appear to play but without sound.
Some apps will still vibrate when giving notifications.
Phone is Moto G4 Plus running Android 7.0.
