i never have any time without signal on aosp. its always under 3 percent and even on 1 bar of signal i get decent speed and i dont have to use wifi. bumblebee is unusable on 3G regardless of how many times i toggle airplane mode.

That may be, but that is not the TWS bug. The TWS bug that keeps TWS locked at 50% is fixed in BB. Having poor reception is a separate issue.
