Most urls redirect to an ad page

On my G2 it seems I have some stupid adware - basically I type a url into chrome e.g. Androidcentral.com, hit enter and I get redirected to some spammy site. It's especially annoying for me because I'm careful which sites I visit and always opt out of usage and personalised ads etc in apps. I can remember seeing someone else with the same issue in the comments from an article a few weeks ago where Phil had responded but couldn't find the article. I've already cleared chrome cache and reset my adverisiting ID.

I would try a 3rd party app (like Avast) to ensure you do not have any adware on your phone.
