motherboard swap

My 2022 Moto G Power spent almost 2 weeks in the gutter buried in snow. It stopped working after the first 4 days in the gutter. Battery probably depleted beyond recovery. Gets very slightly warm on charger overnight. Screen smashed at upper right. Lenses on back also destroyed. Not recognized by laptop.
I want to swap motherboards to recover files. Walmart has surprisingly cheap Straight Talk Moto G 64G phones for $25.
Any compatibility problems between '22 and late model? Compatibility between Power, Stylus, 64G, etc.?

Most users here don't swap motherboards between devices You can probably check XDA Forums but I wouldn't see many there doing this also.

I'd just go with the new Moto G and call it a day. Even if the boards and all components are compatible (most likely not) you'd need to separate the phone from the screen and probably even the board without damage.

I honestly think the time you spend trying to do all the swapping just isn't worth it.

Already have a working replacement (Samsung Galaxy) but I need the files on the old phone.
