Motion to go to camera from lock screen?

In all the videos we saw that you can put and hold your finger on the lock screen and then rotate the phone into landscape mode and camera app is supposed to open, it doesn't do that for me, anything I am missing?

If it is, the phone must be so that the screen is facing toward you, not straight up.

Just put your finger on the camera icon on the lock screen and flck it much faster than holding the button and turning the phone

I was trying to avoid having the camera there and use another app instead. Yes, motion is on.
