Motion Wallpaper

On my S8, I had wallpapers built in that would move around when you twisted the phone back and forth both on the lockscreen and the desktop. It looked really nice and even worked with Nova Launcher.

On the S10, the lockscreen moves but the desktop wallpaper doesn't have any kind of motion effect.

Is there a way to get those back?

The option is supposed to show when you are applying the wall paper. There's a toggle for you to pick motion or not.

It doesn't. That's my issue. There is no toggle, no option, nothing. It's set as desktop, lockscreen or both.

Yes, and once you select the option it shows the button right above "set as wallpaper".

My phone does not have that option. Wtf...is it only certain wallpaper or does yours let you do it with anything?

Ok, so the motion effect only works with stock launcher. The option disappears when using NOVA.

Also the motion effect is very faint and barely noticeable. On my S8, you could flick your wrist and the wallpaper would move in a really cool effect, like bubbles moving around and stuff.

I had the same problem, what I did was back-up all nova setup and settings, uninstall Nova, then using Samsung one ui home, set a wallpaper on the home screen. This will give you the option to un-tick motion effect. Once that done re-install Nova and restore the back-up. That worked for me
