Its just not a big thing with consumers yet, and I don't think they'd bother. Sortof, ppl don't know they're missing so let's sell them what they're used to..bigger screen! Yeah! ..The cynic in me says so far I notice ppl are quite content to plug and unplug their phone ad naseum and of all the directions I see cell companies going its status quo for the win.

+1 Size of the phone and camera quality are my top two priorities. I had wireless charging with the Lumia 820 and the Lumia 925. Wireless charging was nice, but I haven't missed it much since switching to my S4. I do really miss the Lumia 1020 camera quality, however. Big time.

I think it might. The 360 looks like it has it. So it would make sense to throw it in the X+1, especially as they seem to be doing a bundle deal.

Let me just say that it is wonderful. I picked up a Zens Qi charger when AC last had them on sale, and it works perfectly with both my Nexus 4 and second gen Nexus 7. My wife (an iPhone devotee) considers it sorcery.

I will be sorely disappointed if the next Moto X doesn't have it, but it's not a deal breaker.

I don't mind plugging into charge, especially in the car or when I need to get the maximum charge as quickly as possible.
But I am part of an on call rotation so I have to come and go all times of the night when on call. It is really hard to sometimes plug in in the pitch black. First figure out which end is wider, then try to remember if the wide aide is up or down on my phone, then try to plug it in all while tired and trying to be ninja silent. And when I had an S5 it was even more difficult. I am whining a bit, but it is much easier to just sit it down.

I think it would be a great selling point: Just plop your phone and watch on a charging pad next to the bed at night and everything is fresh for the morning. Seems logical.

Wireless charging is the feature I miss most from the Pre. It might be enough to tempt me to upgrade my Moto X.
