Moto 360 Stuck on Startup

After leaving my watch in my drawer for about 2 months with a fully charged battery, I took it out and turned it on. It was out of battery, I presumed. Ok then, so I plug it into a charger. I charge it for a while and turn it on. It's been on the startup loop (four dots spinning) for a while now. So I force shut down and put it back in the charger. I leave it to charge overnight and I wake up and it's doing the startup loop again. I hope it will startup and take a shower. I come back and I discover that it does a cycle: It turns on, loops the startup animation, runs out of battery, charges. Rinse and repeat. I would really like some help with this issue as my Moto 360 was quite expensive. Thank you in advance.

Hold down the crown button for something like 30-35 seconds and this should turn it off and the battery icon will show to indicate charging. Once it's charged, try booting it from there in the dock

Re: Moto 360 Stuck on Startup

My watch seems to have completely died. I can't get it to charge. So, I'm wondering if there's any way to verify whether the charging base is now defective.
