Moto Assist problem

Moto x 2013 with Android 4.4.4 moto assist had 2 options when night mode was activated (in my case 11pm to 6am)
1. When there was call from favorite(starred) nmbr the silent mode was deactivated and it rang.

2. When there was a call from unknown or unstarred numbers it rang only if the same number called twice within 5 minutes.

Both these functions disappeared in new Moto X 2014 having new moto assist.... is this case only with me or everybody else too facing this problem??

With 5.0 the Moto feature was baked into the OS. So go to settings>Sound & Notification>Interruptions and scroll down to downtime section and adust the times as needed.

That's weird. On Lollipop it should say "Use downtime Settings" as shown in my screenshot. Maybe contact Motorola support? The version of the moto app appears to be incorrect.

The whole thing with Lollipop is there is no "Silent Mode". There is either none, priority, or all. That would be why your moto app isn't working.
