Moto Backflip thoughts?

I have found that if you hold the keyboard toward you palm while closing it you can avoid hitting the screen. You can also hit the power button before closing it to turn off the screen. It's kind of hard to explain what I mean but I've gotten pretty good at closing it without touching the screen.
