Does this service appear to be draining battery / keeping phone awake for others?

I thought I was getting a bit more drain than normal. So I turned off Moto Connect this charge cycle. I'm curious on this as well.

It was the cause of battery drain for me. Specifically it increased the media server power consumption. I think it had to do with pushing notifications to my laptop. Any way after turning it off media server power consumption dropped from 18% to around five depending on how much music I listen to.

I have not tried it. Try DeskSMS. With it, you can also have texts sent to your Android tablet and Google talk.

I don't have a problem with it, and I like the functionality of it in Chrome more than I thought I would.

Seeing my drain without it, I dont think it drains much.

It seems like 1-2 bar LTE is the battery killer

I use this feature since day 1 and battery stats reports show no adverse effects of the service.
