Moto E 2nd Gen: tap to speak ?

[AC Question]

I use voice dictation (tap to speak) when sending text message which is handy. Thing is how do I get punctuation like a full stop ? Same for comma, exclanation mark etc.

When I say "period" or "comma" the words are spelled out, no punctuation marks.
