I need help guys. a couple of months ago i received a new Smartphone, Moto E with the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.......As you all know Pokemon go came out and everyone and their momma's are playing it. But went I went to the Google Play Store it straight up said my Device wasn't Compatible with it. I don't know what to do? I don't want to get a new phone over this...I just want to make it work!

Pokémon Go is not available in quite a few different countries... It could be showing you this message due to that fact. But it's on your Play Store app... So I'm not sure.

Is there some feature like near field that is required? Actually I can't see the app on Google Play

I just checked my Verizon Moto E and it's not available. My guess is qHD is too low and 720 may be the minimum resolution.

Moto E 2nd gen is officially not supported because of missing gyroscope, but... you can download, install and play Pokemon Go. My son has this phone and it works fine. Check this guide how to download and install it on your phone...

Only thing you have to set is to turn off AR when catching a pokemon.

Have fun! :)

I was able to find a clean apk of Pokémon Go at APKMirror.com. Make sure you go into your security settings and toggle the switch that allows an install from an unknown source.
