Moto E wifi dropping / freezing

Hi all, my sons Moto E is currently suffering a strange problem. Connected to wifi at home it'll run fine for a few minutes and then act as if not connected. We have to disconnect and reconnect each time.
I've already tried clearing cache partition but no joy. Any ideas would be great

Bump - It's happening to my galaxy tab 4 as well...
