Really ?people make a thread for this question?
If you had a phone before you can use any of those chargers you used before if you go on amazon you find thousands of them I have a brand new car charger never used it ,if you give me your address I will send it to you ,....
There is no name chargers and there is brand name chargers out there basically a no name charger will do the job only thing is different from a brand name one is MAmp output the no name ones are putting out from 500-750ma and a brand name one is 1amp so its charges faster , when you look at the specs for it buy the one with the 1amp output,
You can't mess up the phone even if you use a 2amp charger cause the phone controls how much current its takes from the charger

If its a no name one and says 1amp there is no guaranty it is really 1 amp ,so maybe it is wiser to buy a brand name one,
If, you don't wanna wait around for your phone to be charges unless you charging your phone at night.

Which is exactly why OP asked the question....looking for recommendation on a good non-brand name charger. Ry recommended one which is very reasonably priced, in fact there was a sale for under $12 recently, although it's back to regular $15 price. The monoprice he recommended handles both smartphones and most tablets.

At home I've had two iPads, iPhone5s and different Android phone all connected at one time overnight without a hitch....and my units are about 3-5 months old.
