My new Moto G Power unlocked phone will not connect to Verizon 4G but will connect to Verizon 3G. The Verizon company store said the phone was defective after two hours of 3 new sims, reseting network, and erasing all data (factory reset). Since I bought the phone from Motorola, they sent me a another phone that also did not connect to Verizon 4G. Motorola is sending me third phone. What is going on?

Thank you for your quick reply. I have a Moto G Power not a Moto G7 Power. My choices in "Settings Settings > Network & Internet Network and Internet > Mobile Network > Preferred network type" is:

Global: This is the preferred setting for most locations.
LTE / CDMA: This setting should only be selected if experiencing service issues in locations that offer multiple network types and only LTE/CDMA is needed.
LTE / GSM / UMTS:

The Verizon store tried all three. Still no 4G

I also went to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options.
Touch Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth > RESET SETTINGS.
Touch RESET SETTINGS.

I also went to Settings > System.
Touch Advanced.
Touch Reset options.
Touch Erase all data (factory reset)
Touch Reset Phone.

Thank you. I have not tried Safe Mode. When my third phone arrives Friday, I will try Safe Mode.

Wednesday:

My third phone is working perfectly. Thank you Motorola! They worked with me and never hesitated to send me two phones until the problem was fixed. I recommend Motorola.
