Moto G3 (2015) won't charge

"too long didn't read": my phone won't charge, only when turned off and left charging for over 10 hours. problem comes and goes sporadically. might have something to do with failed attempts to transfer files over from pc

So this problem started about a month ago or so. My Moto G3 won't charge when I plug it in the charger and plug the charger on the wall. The lightning icon on the battery bar won't show and the phone won't charge at all. The phone will only charge if I turn it off and leave it charging for many, many hours (like over 10), because it seems to charge much, much, much slower than usual/normal when this problem starts. It will also (apparently) charge when connected to my PC, but as I've heard, that takes much longer than a normal charger on wall charge. It's weird because this problem started a month ago but it goes away and comes back sporadically. It came back today after some weeks with the phone being normal. What I noticed is that today I tried transferring some files from my phone to my PC, but I'm facing problems with that too, the process is full of errors, so, maybe, that screwed up my phone?

The first thing to try is to use a different cable and/or wall charging plug, since these components can fail unexpectedly. A failing cable could also explain the problems with data transfer. If the same thing happens with multiple other cables, then the problem might be with the microUSB port. Make sure it's clear of debris by blowing it out with a can of compressed air. If it's completely clean and the problems persist, then the port itself might be faulty, and would have to be replaced.

Now my phone won't even reboot when I press the power button and the volume up button and it's just turned off, won't turn on or charge at any costs.

I tried a third different charger and a white light started shining from the top of the front of my phone. Edit: now it seems like its charging
