My Moto G5 stock camera app is set to 16:9. When lining up a shot in portrait mode an area at the bottom of the screen has a grey overlay where the camera controls are placed, this dims out part of the scene, and when in landscape it is to one side. This is distracting when composing. This is the same overlay as on the home screen and doesn't show on other apps. It doesn't effect the final picture, it's just a pain when composing. Has anybody found a way to remove it and give a clear screen?
