Moto G5 plus stuck on boot up screen

[Android Central Question]

Moto g5+ is stuck on the blue boot up screen and has been alternating from showing the red "moto" logo and the red "lenovo" logo for about 10 hours now. The power button does not function. Chrome was not working for me last night, so I restarted the phone, but this happened. Is there any way to fix this without losing my data on my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! See if you can boot into Recovery and wipe the cache partition: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/motorola/motorola-moto-g5-plus/wipe-cache/. (This isn't possible with later Moto phones, but I think you can still do it on a G5.)
