Android Central Question

Hey, guys.

I've had a Moto Maxx (XT1225, international version of the Droid Turbo) for three years, and for whatever reason it's been overheating with very basic usage (even in standby) and the huge 3900mAh battery isn't lasting much at all.

Checking the battery stats, I found out that cell standby was draining 60% of my battery, and that's with mobile data switched off all day. It also has this problem in which it'll take a full 6 hours to charge in any charger, giving a "Charging Slowly" notification.

I immediately replaced my battery and the MicroUSB slot at a repair shop, and then did a factory reset just for the sake of it. That was a week ago. Battery life is still mediocre, cell standby is taking way too much power than it should, and it's still "Charging slowly" no matter where I put it, and nobody seems to know why.

I'm very close to declaring it dead and buying a new phone, but looking at my budget I can't afford something better than this warrior of a phone.

Can anyone remotely tell what's going on?
