Moto Mod 360 camera thoughts?

I saw that Moto and Best Buy had 50% off the 360 camera Moto Mod a week ago. I'm wondering if anyone here has tried that camera?

I'm now living in an environment in Salt Lake City that 360 landscape photography is amazing, and I want to see if that camera is decent or if I should get a Gear 360. My plan is to use the phone cam as a general/proto/scene planning camera, then coming in with a DSLR with a fisheye and a plumb for the good shots.
