Moto Tablet: Should I Wait?

They are both vanilla. And the rumors say the G-Slate will have 3D

I wouldn't bank on those rumors too much. There's not much solid evidence from anything truly reliable that it's the case.

I wont be purchasing anything motorola soon. I had been a loyal motorola customer since the early 90, and the products and service that they have provided in the 00 era have had nothing much to offer me. I have been much more satisfied with htc products and I will be waiting for them. Motorola would still have me as a customer if they just stood behind their product line like they used to..... even tho they did not have the best products they stood behind fixing or replacing them. But it seem they no longer do that. JUST my 2 pennies

I have felt the same way as well but motorola just got a new CEO, and I can assure you they are going to stand by their quality products and coustomer service from here on out! Their new CEO is doing great things for the company.

That may be the case, I certainly hope so. It would be great if they could turn things around! There is no way I am going to buy an Ipad........ I will power up the old commodore 64 first lol.

It will be interesting who sells their tablet first, motorola and htc are vying for the spot of the first real serious tablet.... Who will it be?

Oh does anyone know where you can go play with one first hand yet? lol

I read HTC will sell a tablet based on Gingerbread. Motorola will have Honeycomb.

One can assume 3.0 will eventually find it's way on the HTC platform, but there is no telling what will happen or when it will happen.

If you want Honeycomb in the first half of this year, it's a good bet the only game in town will be the XOOM.
