Moto voice launching on Bluetooth disconnect

I found a workaround. If I disable "Media Audio" in the Bluetooth settings it does not launch Moto Voice on Bluetooth disconnect. Of course I cannot stream audio to the car now, but I never do that anyway. Motorola support suggested I have "BMW update the Bluetooth in the car" ☺.

Just FYI, I connect automatically to my car via Bluetooth as well and I do not have the problems you mention and do have Media Audio still checked.

That's a bummer, but since you don't stream audio I suppose it's no big deal. My head unit natively supports Aha and Pandora. I just select which app I want from the head unit, and it launches it from the phone with no intervention required on my part. Music pauses and resumes when an in coming call begins and ends. When I turn off the car, the app stop playing, and everything on the phone is normal; thankfully.

I have a similar problem, where Moto Voice auto launches when connecting to my car's Bluetooth. It seems that this just recently started happening. I use my phone to stream music, but I never use the voice commands while in the car. Is there a way to turn off the Moto Voice from auto starting?
