I've found in the past that using a phrase with about 5 syllables is better than something shorter to avoid false activation when you (or someone else nearby) says something similar. I'd never use something as simple as Hal.

I have noticed, since I've been using it, the hand off to Google Now seems to stall a lot. I've had it go to Google for some functions and it never resolves. Most things though, it's been pretty reliable.

For anybody who's wondering, Moto Voice works fine with any language. I also speak Chinese, so to make sure nobody knows I'm being a dork by talking to my phone I have it set as "dianhua huifu," which means "phone, respond!" Works like a charm.

One unfortunate glitch I've run into is that Moto Voice doesn't play nicely with AutoVoice for Tasker. My Tasker voice commands work perfectly when using the default "Ok Google" launch phrase, but it doesn't work when I set a custom one. Does anyone know a work-around for this?
