I just got my wife a Moto X, I have an HTC One M7. On the Moto X can you add more options to the 2 finger pull down Quick Settings shade? My HTC has an "edit" button at the top which now I'm assuming is part of HTC Sense. I can't seem to find where to do that with the Moto X.

Re: Adding to Quick Settings shade

It wasn't possible in the 2013 Moto X, so I assume it also isn't possible in the 2014 (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

You may want to try Power Toggles, which allows you to place a highly customizable toggle bar in the Notification Shade (as well as on the homescreen and lockscreen).

Thanks. I did install Power Toggles as a substitute. I was just surprised that wasn't part of stock Android.

Bear in mind that vanilla Android is not meant to be all things to all people--consider it more of a foundation. The functions that are there are basic, for the most part. It's up to developers to come up with all of the cool stuff that gets added on.
