I have been contemplating the new Moto X so, I purchased the Moto 360 to try out. I had the Galaxy Gear at first. When I bought the Moto 360 after wearing it for a couple of hours, I was disappointed so, I was tempted to return it. Then I started to use it. This is the 2nd day with the Moto 360 and its starting to grow on me and I am liking it more than the Galaxy Gear. I find the information that is displayed, much more useful than the Galaxy Gear.

If I wind up liking the Moto 360 more than the Galaxy Gear, would that be an indicator of the Moto X?

I like the fact that my Moto 360 displays the information that I need in a more organized format and the GG. I thought I might miss the receiving phone calls on my wrist but, I really do not miss it all that much.

I think the one thing you'll miss the most if you go with the new MotoX, coming from a Note 3, is the screen and stylus. And multitasking, if you used that. In my case, I went from a Note 2 to an S4 and that affair lasted for 4 months. Couldn't do without the stylus, so I went back to the Note line (and the new Note 3 had come out, so that didn't help hehe).

If you want to know how a MotoX would feel, go to a store and play with the new one. And also check out AC's hands-on. The new Moto X — hands-on! | Android Central

Thanks for the information. By chance was the stint between the Note and S4 because you wanted to try something different or smaller? My reason is that I want something smaller and more comfortable in the hand.

Re: Coming from Note 3 and Galaxy Gear

Unfortunately, both. The S4 was being offered to me free of charge with my carrier contract, it was the new thing, and my Note 2 had just suffered an accident involving the phone, a dog, and subsequent pandemonium. So, I took the S4. And I liked the size, I really did (I could ALMOST use it with one hand without tempting carpel tunnel syndrome), but I missed the stylus. And then the Note 3 came out, saw the screen, and couldn't look away. Sure, it's a bigger device, but I've grown so used to it, it didn't feel big at all.
