Hi, I dont know any name for this, but my screen display has an small sepia ghost like imagen of an android home screen behind everywhere. Doesnt matter which app Km using, this little homescreen imagen is anywhere.
Do you know whats the problem? Is it the motherboard???

Your home screen may have burned into the display. It happens with AMOLED screens (which the Moto X 2014 has). To my knowledge, once screen burn in is present, there is no way to fix it aside from having another screen installed.

If your phone is still under warranty, you may want to contact Lenovo/Motorola about repair, but I've heard their customer service has not been so good lately.

Hi, thanks for the answer.
No it is not under warranty. I have another moto x same as this, but it has damage on the motherboard, so I was wondering if I could use something from that other phone to fix this one.
And thank you so much I didn't know a burn could happen this way.

Welcome to the forums. Yeah, unfortunately it sounds like burn in. There an easy way to be sure, take a screenshot, zoom it in and out in your gallery and see if it's still in the same place. The burn in doesn't appear on screenshots.

Np, hate to hear about the issue. There may be a phone repair store in your area that could exchange the screens. If you go that route, I'd check word of mouth or internet reviews on their reputation first. Motorola may still fix it with a fee if you go that route. Either way, best of luck to get it fixed :,).
