Moto X 2014 Front camera lag?

Anybody having a problem with the front camera lagging? They have a thread over at XDA mentioning this

It's pretty noticeable. Better when I use ProCapture, but still there.

It sound like an issue I had with the original X rear camera, when I use any third party app and manually adjust the ISO level and set it to a low value, the images coming through become extremely laggy, and it's an issue with all Moto X. I think they can fix it with via software update.
