Moto X 2014 Help: File attachment size 5mb limit on Android 4.4.4 Moto X

OK I have changed and remove every restriction on our exchange server its not our server. Android 4.4.4 locking into 5mb - why? Touchwiz on a S5 works... Gmail works to but come on.....Motorola fix the email apk.... +Motorola Mobility +Android +Android Developers I would return a phone over this ugh. Maybe L will fix it?

I suspect it's nothing to do with the X or even Motorola at all. This is probably an Android restriction and as Samsung have their own version of the email client they removed this "feature". Check out the Google product forums and see if there is any discussion on it.

Gmail has an attachment limit of 25MB last I checked which is supposed to be one of the larger ones. The email client likely would be smaller.

Yeah I tried it on a S5 gmail is a solution. Yeah it's a noted issue on Google product forums. Hoping to be able to it on stock again with my exchange account. Hopefully L fixes. Not sure why they would force it to 5mb

Temporary solution : install dropbox and upload your attachment there... Then share the link..
