Moto X 2014 How to protect the lens?

One design advantage of the iPhone 6 is the sapphire cover of the lens. I'd like to protect my Moto X lens (not knowing if it is plastic, glass, etc). Suggestions?

Don't even worry about it.

I've had phones with cameras for over 10 years now. 99% of that time I have gone without a case on my phones. None of my phones' cameras have had sapphire lenses. Not once have I worried about scratching a camera lens, nor has the scratching of a camera lens on one of my phones happened.
