When did we see promo codes on the 2013 X?

Sitting on the sidelines until I can get at least $100 off

They started doing it during cyber Monday last year.

The possible cyber Monday deal and the shipping delays are the reasons i am leaning towards just waiting on purchasing until then. That's when i bought my 2013 X as well.

Also remember that those promo codes went really fast, and if I recall Motorola offered up another (brief) code period because their website crashed. Even with that, a lot of people who wanted one did not get one. Be prepared to stalk the website (and that's assuming they make the same offer this year) if you're willing to wait another six weeks.

With the shipping delays I'd be waiting at least another 3 weeks anyway (32gb/white front), so I might just hold out to see if the price drops or if there are going to be code deals.

FYI - There is a thread on slickdeals where various contributors are posting their $50 .edu promo codes for others to have.
