Ordered mine the same day and I also picked a white front and was given the Oct 22nd delivery date. I'm not as lucky as her, though. I haven't received an email about delivery, I havent even received anything saying they are assembling it. However, I ordered the ebony back and after seeing actual pics or it I'm immediately regretting my decision. I called them up and tried to make some changes to the phone but they said the parts had been shipped to the assembly and it was too late. So when I get my phone it's probably going back for a redo.

My sister ordered a white front, raspberry back with dark grey accents on Saturday that was expected to ship Oct. 22. She got an email this morning stating that it will be delivered tomorrow. I guess the 4 week delay on the white fronts wasn't entirely true.
This made my day! I ordered White Front/Ebony Back/Blue Accents today and was given 10/23 ship date. I hope it ships earlier, and I hope I like the ebony in person. I love it online, but the real pics I've seen are a little too zebra...
I just got mine. It said Oct 9th to be here.. Does anyone know how to track it on FedEx I made an account..
I have black front/ebony back and 32gb pure edition. It hasn't really moved but they keep telling me it should be in my hands by the 13th which I am okay with but they seem to have no other info. I got the watch that I placed in the same order and the rep I was chatting with told me that my moto x must have been lost in shipment lol. Even though the receipt in the box said only my watch was shipped. I called and they told me that the phone hasn't shipped yet and watched shipped separately as I originally thought. I am also really digging the spice leather and black front and that one says delivery by the 9th. I might order that one too and keep the one I like more.

For the people that have received theirs but didn't get a delivery notice from Motorola but did get one from Fedex, was your order status updated on Motorola's website or did it continue to say 'Not Shipped' after Fedex reported the shipment? I shipped mine to the office so I can't use the Delivery Manager but it looks like some people in the Oct 22nd group are starting to receive theirs.
Ordered on the 18th, they charged me on the 18th, took my money and I'm still waiting for delivery. Their site says delivery by Oct 13th. This is BS. People are getting their phones in 4 days, and Motorola has had my money for 2 weeks with no sign of motion. Incompetent and unfair. This wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't immediately charged me for the phone. I'm with others: if I don't hear from them this week, mine is going back upon delivery. This is no way to treat a customer or to generate positive PR for a company that needs it.
People are really impatient.
You ordered a custom product. Delivery times will not be the same based on the materials chosen.

Time frame is fine. Its the fact they are charging people pretty much a month in advance. there for you pay interest on $557 (in my case) and its pretty lame. MOST companies wait until it ships to charge. So I have to side with him. Granted I'm good with the wait also if they would simply tell me

^this. I wouldn't care about waiting at all if they hadn't taken my money immediately. Don't charge me until you ship Motorola, whenever that is. And don't play favorites with customers. Others have received the exact phone I ordered in less than a week.

FYI the credit card companies take a very dim view of merchants charging cards and NOT shipping. You could call your credit card company and have them reverse the charges -- they will most certainly do this once you explained your card was charged without a shipment. Of course that would screw up your order so if you want the phone asap, you're stuck with playing the game the way motorola wants.

I ordered mine on a Thursday evening and got it Tuesday morning. (Thanks AT&T) I got the white front with Bamboo backing. Love it so far. (ordered 9/25 and received 9/30 mainly because they don't ship over the weekend.)

Some of you guys are going to hate to hear this, but I ordered mine Monday 9/29 and it just shipped and should be here tomorrow (10/3). It was originally scheduled for a 10/9 estimated delivery.
It's an unlocked 32GB model with navy blue back and black front, so it's probably not a design that they find "challenging" (in terms of acquiring the parts- white fronts for example). I'm excited though- I hope yours all arrive well ahead of schedule too.

I ordered mine on the 30th. I got a 32gb Verizon model with black leather back, black front and metallic green accents.
Est date is October 23rd. I hope it comes sooner.. I'm going to blow past my data cap checking my moto account 24/7 lol.

Ordered mine 9/27, arrived via FedEx on 10/1 (estimated 10/22). I never got a notification that it shipped. Glad to have it early!
