Listen boys the Canadian variant has a unlocked bootloader (or it can be unlocked on Moto) Absolutely no bloat...it is a dream and my favorite phone!!!! Will most likely replace it with the Moto X +1...if Moto does not screw it up.......

I was on 4.4 with custom recovery and root, flashed the stock recovery and accepted the OTA, after a minutes of agony the phone turns on normally and rooted!

no soft brick and no lost root
