Moto X and Android L

Anything that comes from a Customer Service rep should be taken with the largest grain of salt possible.

Customer service are just as unreliable as the blogs. The only thing that will authoritatively say what and when will be when Motorola Mobility (or their G+ page or someone high up like Punit Soni) directly says so.

And browsing both, neither the Motorola Mobility official channels nor Punit has said anything - therefore, it's still incredibly likely the X will get L but not confirmed.

I just meant to say that when our moto actually just updated to Android l lollipop, it will continue to make our phones that much valuable because we went out to buy all new devices which makes sense besides our phone should run the new software very easily if you know what I mean

Punit Soni pledged two-year support. I have zero doubts that the Moto X will get Android L.

Completely agree. I wish people wouldn't just blindly trust a random website (especially one that doesn't show its source) and then repost it as authoritative. It would be absolutely silly for MM to not port L to the Moto X - it'd ruin all the goodwill they've created with the absurdly fast updates to date.

Use punctuation marks, it helps. But I agree with what you are saying.
