Anyone know what this Avatar app is or what is does? Is it safe to disable? I'm on Verizon.

I'm also on VZW and I have disabled it with no adverse effects. I tried to find out what it was and could find nothing about it.

I too saw this on my phone for the first time today. I turned my phone off and turned it back on and it disappeared. ???
Oh yea, I'm on AT&T. :-\

I believe that is the "Spotlight" widget Moto pushed out a week ago.

Yes, that is the Spotlight dealie. It is what needs to be disabled to stop the windy day BS they just are pushing out

Do you have the spolight widget still installed ?Or did you disabled the widget?
For me when Spolight widget was installed the MX Avatar wasnt.But the originsl avatar was still there .When I cleaned cache clean data of the spotlight widget and then deleted it the MX avatar returned.So I then had 2 avatar again.The original Avatar and the MX avatar.
I didnt disable those since the have I cleaned out data and cache on those.Just preference on that without disabling Spotlight Widget will still show in playstore with disabling it wont.
If you had already disabled the actual avatars they will be way down near bottom of : Settings>apps>all .All disable stuff gets moved down there.
