Moto X - Bluetooth volume too high after Kit Kat

After Kit Kat upgrade my minimum bluetooth volume is way too high. I read other posts with different phones including the Nexus 4. Anyone experiencing this?

Bluetooth upgrade was garbage. I lost volume control to an external speaker. Garbage.
Everything was fine until this "upgrade". A call to Moto-Care(???) said the kit-cat phone
upgrade included a Bluetooth 4.0 upgrade which would do that. They also said I'd have
to firmware upgrade my external. Really??? And they call it an "upgrade". Please hound
Motorola / Google to fix this.
The VERY reputable TDK (external speaker manufacturer) said no firmware upgrade
was in the works. Moto-Google rushed a garbage upgrade to the masses and left
us to fend for ourselves.

Look at long key press delay. Advanced keyboard settings. Extend it longer.

I have the same problem but only with my cars Bluetooth. In my home my LG sound bar when on bluetooth let's my moto x control the volume.
