So yeah it is 100 cheaper.
Kinda sad cause i spent big money on mine and less than a month ago.

Anyone else feel we should get a refund or something?.

The dock station as a gift would be awesome.... You know...

Unless you bought it a few days ago, nope.

The incentives were enough for you to buy it when you did. Now that rate of sales has declined a little, more incentives are offered in the form of price reductions to boost sales. This is common and predictable. How in the world does that mean that they owe you anything back?

I'm not saying they are obliged to do so, but other big companies offer a refund or something.

Hell even if i don't apply what about people who bought it 2 or 3 days ago.

This is more like an FYI to you all. I feel kinda sad about the cut but i still love my moto X.

Jeez u guys gotta stop the hate.

No hate. Just swapping opinions. Don't be so thin - skinned just because we have different opinions. I must say that the Moto X is like the "little engine that could". It was dissed in the media because it looked spec-poor on paper. But the X8 optimizations that Big M engineered are game changing. It is a very good choice & if I didn't already have my Dev Edition S4 I would most likely get a Dev ed Moto X. Or perhaps a MAXX. Enjoy!

Very rare after weeks after purchase. (but if you bought it with a Discover card call them, they can prolly get you a $100 credit.

I actually ordered the dev edition a couple days ago. I called the next day to cancel the order and they did, but the package got shipped anyway. I checked my account and what they did is they refunded the amount, but then charged me again after that (probably after they realized that it still shipped) without telling me. I called them today and told them this. They ended up giving me a $100 credit.

So I figured since I'll get the phone today, I'll play with it to see if I really do like it and, if so, I'll have that $100 to buy some accessories....

So9 how long sis it take from ordering till you received it? I ordered one on Friday 11/8 and I'm curious as to how long it will take. Thanks

So it seems you bought the phone because you couldn't wait.

Yes. Wait being the operative word.

And yes. delayed gratification has its rewards.

Some stores have 30 day price guarantees, others 15.

I was one of those who purchased only a few days before the price drop. (Ordered Tuesday night at 9:30pm via web site, saw the price drop after 10:30pm Thursday night, phone was already on FedEx truck with delivery ETA of Friday.).

When I called Moto Thursday night upon seeing the price difference, I found Moto apparently doesn't seem to have a price guarantee policy. They said they did not have a way to refund the difference to my card. The rep offered me a $100 google card, but not sure if that was right, because later they offered me $100 in accessories. My other option was to return the phone and reorder one at the lower price. I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor gave the same options, and was going to look into other options and call me back. Friday when I called back to check, not waiting for the supervisor, the rep offered me a $100 visa gift card. I took it. When the supervisor called me back, it was accessories or the Visa gift card. I took the Visa Card.

If you purchased your Dev X weeks ago, or longer, I wouldn't expect Moto to do anything. If you got it a few days before the price drop, yup. Then again, where is that cut off? 3 days? 5 days? two weeks? If you are less than 30 days, its worth calling I doubt they'll offer you anything unless you ordered a couple days before the price drop.

If it is less than 30 days just purchase a new one, and return the old one when the new one comes in. That's what I'm doing.
