Moto-X downloading kitkat and froze, what now?

Was downloading Kitkat earlier on my Moto X, don't know if it fully downloaded, phone is now frozen on the welcome screen. Tried multiple on/off, still no joy. Any suggestions on how to unfreeze phone and get it back working?

you can load kitkat manually with firmware from here Droid-Developers SBF
and RSDLite from here [GUIDE][VIDEO] Moto X - Return to 100% stock (using RSD Lite) - xda-developers
if you don't have access to the bootloader, however, you're hosed and have to get a new phone.
To get to the bootloader hold down power/Volume Down.
