How can I sync facebook with only my existing contacts in my phone. It will only allow me to sync all even when I try to go through my individual contacts...

I'm not sure if you can only sync your phone contacts, but you can set it to display only your phone contacts. When you pull up your contacts, on top you will see Contacts: All Contacts. If you tap that, it'll let you switch between all contacts, phone contacts, favorites, google contacts and a few other options. That would help you in keeping those unwanted FB contacts out of there.

I don't think there is a way to do this. There was in vanilla Android OS, but not with Moto's BS.
