Moto X-how to flash custom ROMS

hello,
I recently rooted my moto x running andriod 4.4.4 by unlocking the bootloader. I would like to try the Carbon ROM. Unlike rooting the phone, I cannot find a decent list of directions that describe how to do this. There are a few tutorials for the installation of other ROMS, but they all differ slightly in method.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a place where one can learn about ROMS and how to install them (I know it's different for every device; in this case it's an unlocked/rooted moto X) because google turns up...not much. Or, if someone could briefly explain here...?

XDA forums, the Moto X forum, development subforum. That's where you'll find all the people who write the ROMS and people who can tell you (or point you to a previous thread) how to flash a particular ROM. (Usually the developer lists full instructions on the thread announcing the ROM.)
